I am not able to logon to the FT server, the service does not want to run on it's own, and I cannot run the directory configuration wizard. When I uninstall and go to v10 the security gets hosed and I cannot repair it. I was told that they would still work in v11 but that we could not edit them it appears they do not work at all in V11

I am doing a hardware and OS upgrade to replace a failed XP unit and I need to support legacy alarms as we don't have the logic in place to support the new process. Also, be sure MySpeedReference is selected as your startup data log model. Be sure to turn on Data Logging at startup. Go into Startup at the top of the Explorer tree. This is different from FactoryTalk View SE.

I need to uninstall V11 on Windows 10 and downgrade to a previous version, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall both v8 and v10. In FactoryTalk View ME, we will only have one data log model running at a time. so i have find a work around to my current problem.however the inability to uninstall v11 as outlined below is a problem. Edit: this forced me to sit down and finally understand the new Alarms and Events the documentation i had on that made it sound waaaay harder than it was.
